School Days

We were getting ready for school this morning, and I turn around and see this sweet pose! Luckily, my camera was close by, so I just HAD to take a pic!

And this is her waiting "patiently" while I took another one.

There's just something so sweet about a preschooler ready for her school day! Hope you all had a great one!

Fall, finally

Hooray for Fall! Our high today was in the 70's. Our low for the last few weeks hadn't reached that point! It's fantastic! I have the windows open and the AC off. It's great! Now my Fall decorations don't feel so out of place! Speaking of Fall, I spent my entire afternoon filling a bow order for a client. I LOVE that she just requests things for seasons. It lets me be a little more creative. This first one is just Fall colors. I did one with all of the ribbon colors reversed for my little girl too. A girl can NEVER have too many bows!

And this flower bow can just be worn in her hair, on a headband, or on a hat. Of course, I reversed the petal colors and Kayt got one of those too!

I'm so excited for this season! I made Halloween and Christmas bows today too so I could ship them all to her at once, but I'll save those for another post. Hope you're enjoying the season!

Wooo Pig Sooie!

I figured a post with some Razorback fun in it was appropriate for today! Last Saturday, we went to a baby shower for one of my husband's best friends and his wife. They are expecting twin boys. (On a side note, she got put in the hospital on Wednesday at 30 weeks because she was already having contractions. They got them stopped and got the boys a steroid shot, but please keep them in your prayers. Those boys need to stay in there as long as possible!) Okay, back to happier things! I decided since we are all Razorback fans, that the boys needed a little Razorback in their lives. So, I made diaper cakes that are all about those Hogs! Here are some of the pics!

This is the front of diaper cake #1. I just put their monogram on them in reverse colors. They can decide which boy gets which things.

Side view of cake #1.

Here is cake #2.

Side view of #2 plus and Emma's nose for added effect. She stuck it in there at the last second, and I didn't think to take another picture. The cakes were identical but with opposite colors.

Speaking of those Hogs. We watched the game at the shower (I told you we were avid Hog fans around here) and I can't believe we let Georgia come back and tie the game in the 4th quarter! Thank goodness for that Mallet pass in the end so we could be #10 this week facing #1 Alabama. Come on Hogs! Let's take 'em down! Woo Pig!

Bowling Baby

A couple times a year, Steve's company hosts a gathering where employees can bring their families out. Last Friday, it was bowling. Kaythlen had never been before, and she was SO excited. I wish I had taken a picture of her before she started. She had the cutest tutu on made by turtle.feathers. Hard to bowl with it on, though, so off it came. We put up the bumpers, got her a 6 lb. ball, and she was set. They turn off the lights so everything glows, which she was mesmerized by. She thought it was amazing! That, coupled with the loud music, and she was in heaven. This first picture is my absolute favorite! Who doesn't love a baby with her rear in the air trying to get the ball down the lane?

Here she is watching her ball go. Which we did. For long periods of time. On occasion, I thought it was never going to make it. But she HAD to do it all by herself!

Here is her first score. I didn't think a 55 was too bad for a 4-year-old who did it by herself!

For the second game, her score went up to 69. Sadly, she'd have probably beat me if I'd been playing! She cant wait to try this again!
