Bubble Babies

The weather has been fabulous lately (of course, it rained today but still...).  We spend every evening outside going for a walk or blowing bubbles.  "Bubbles" is one of Kennedy's favorite new words.  You can see by this next set of pictures that she just loves them.  And her sister is all about chasing them.  I couldn't narrow it down, so I apologize in advance for the large number of pictures.

Waiting patiently...

Here they come!

Kayt trying to catch them with her hands or feet...whichever works.

"Bubbles!!!!"

Sassy britches!

I just love these days!

Splish, splash!

My girls played outside (with chalk) and got nasty had a blast!  When they came in, we went straight to the tub.  Kennedy usually takes a bath by herself, but we figured we'd knock them out together.  They loved it!

Kayt taught Kennedy how to stick letters to the wall.  And if one fell off, she was all over it

My bathing beauties!

Loving her big sister/bath time!

On a side note, Kennedy has some kind of virus that has given her pink eye and an upset tummy.  We've been to the doctor, but this has been going on for over a week.  We'd appreciate prayers that she feels better soon!

SUYL: New Friends

I just had to link up with Kelly's Korner this week!  It's always fun to find new people in your area!  I'm 33-year-old working mom, married to my most fabulous husband, and blessed with two beautiful angels.  My oldest is 5 and almost finished with kindergarten (gasp) and my youngest is almost 16 months old.  They keep me busy, but they also give me much more fun things to blog about than I would come up with on my own.  We attend a wonderful church (Life Fellowship in Olive Branch) if you're in the area and looking...we'd love for you to join us! We are football fanatics (GO HOGS!).  We've been stocking up on new gear for the girls to wear this season!  You'd think it wouldn't be so hard to find since Memphis is right next to Arkansas, but they seem to outlaw Razorback stuff around here!  hehe

Ahoy, matey!

Today was pirate day at Kaythlen's school.  Lucky for me, my sweet friend that picks her up from school took her to Target to grab a costume.  Kennedy was sick, so without Aimee, we probably would not have been participating.  And Kayt was thrilled to be a "pirate twin" with her BFF, Maddie!  I know, she doesn't look "thrilled" in the picture, but it was the one that showed the whole costume.  And I have to throw in that I had a really hard time cutting up a perfectly good, brand new shirt.  The things I do for this child!  ha

Here's a picture where she is showing of her "ink".  hehe

Apparently, they were going to "walk to plank" at school today.  She couldn't wait to jump in and yell "Cannonball".  She is so her father's child!

Picky baby..

Just because this angel will eat grapes today....

doesn't mean she will eat them tomorrow.  Or the next day.  Or the day after that.

Book! Book! Thank you!

This angel LOVES to read.  She will bring us book after book after book, and she is thoroughly entertained the entire time.  She points to animals, people, etc.  And she even says "thank you" when you finish.  Love this baby!

Still kicking!

Bet you thought I fell off the face of the earth!  All 12 of my followers were worried, I'm sure.  hehe  I find there is never enough time in the day to blog.  I want to keep up with all of the things that are going on in our lives, but at the end of the day, clean clothes triumph.  I'd vow to do better, but who am I kidding?  So, instead, I vow to think about trying to do better.

Since this is my 100th post (we wont mention how many years it has taken me to get to 100), I thought some Easter cuties would be worthy of the feat.

Here are Kayt and her BFF-sister (she and Maddie call themselves that since Maddie's mom and I are friends??? What can I say...5- and 6-year old logic!  hehe) at the Easter egg hunt.

Kennedy gave Steve this look at the Easter egg hunt.  Does it not totally look like she's saying "Whatever, Dad!"  I love it!

Kennedy loved her Easter basket...

...and her chocolate bunny.

Kaythlen had so much fun hunting all the eggs by herself (Kennedy fell asleep).

Kennedy kept dropping eggs and then she couldn't find them in her dress.  It was so funny!

And here's my oldest angel...love this kid!

Hope you all had a wonderfully fantastic Easter!  Rejoice!
